In Narok, too many girls lose their place in school. Some become mothers while still in their teens. Some are married early. Some are cut through FGM. Many come from families that cannot pay school fees.
Too often, these girls are told their story is over. Retoi Lasha Foundation exists to say that it is not.

We began with a simple idea. Give a girl a safe place, and she can heal. Give her education and skills, and she can build a future. Stand with her, and she can lead her own life.
Today we pay school fees, provide housing and run a hub for beadwork, tailoring and computer skills. We offer health education and counselling. We also keep the children of young mothers safe and learning until their mothers are ready to care for them fully.
We keep a profile for every girl, so that her support fits her. We also work with her family and community, so she can reconnect with her roots.
